Chiropractic care is a hands-on, non-invasive, and drug-free practice that safely and effectively helps relieve pain and improve the body’s overall function. It uses various treatments depending on your needs, from manual ‘hands-on’ adjustment techniques to soft tissue therapy.

A ONE HOUR initial assessment/treatment is a requirement for your first appointment in order to ensure the therapist has adequate time to provide you with a proper assessment.

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions. Massage therapy can be used as a treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs work with a wide variety of patients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.

On the first visit you will complete a confidential health history as part of your assessment. Your massage therapist will assess your individual needs as well as other factors that may be contributing to your injury or condition. The RMT will develop a treatment plan with you to ensure you receive appropriate treatment. The treatment plan can be changed at any time and will be reassessed at an appropriate time.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and wellbeing. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, and health and fitness. Physiotherapists get you involved in your own recovery.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a non-invasive manual therapy that focuses on total-body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal system including the joints, muscles connective tissue and spine. Manual osteopaths do not only concentrate on treating the problem areas, but use manual techniques to balance all systems of the body to restore function.

Counselling / Psychology / Mental Health

Counselling is a form of talk therapy wherein a licensed counsellor sits down with a client to help them work through their issues in a safe, confidential environment. The client discusses their issues with the counsellor in depth, helping them to work through these issues and change their lives.
